Being that I’m from South Florida I get a craving for good Caribbean and Spanish food every so often and today was one of those days on my way home for lunch. This was my first time stopping in Mum’s and I will definitely be coming back. The lady that helped serve me today was so nice and absolutely on point with her recommendations. I ordered the jerk chicken with rice and had some of the oxtail stew gravy over the rice. I got a side of sauce for the jerk chicken too and I love the flavors in that sauce, a little sweet to compliment the heat. I also couldn’t leave without getting a beef patty of course.

Mum's catered a work lunch for me. They were lovely to deal with. We came up with a custom menu. They were flexible with my requests. Food was early. Shawn was super helpful during setup and everything was delicious. The food got many compliments. I would definitely order from them again. My only suggestion is to maybe include vegetarian main dishes instead of just sides.

I am upgrading Mum's to a 5 star. I gave them a chance again today, and my food was delicious. I was feeling home sick today and wanted some Jamaican soup, Patties and black cake. My cravings can be that of a pregnant woman. Raised by Jamaican grandparents from Kingston, I know good food. I first tried the curry goat here last year and was pleased. Today, I had the chicken soup, beef Patties and a very moist black cake. Soup was excellent with dumpling and carrots. The Patties were nice and spicy. The black cake was a dream. I may need to order a whole cake. Everything was piping hot upon delivery. Thank you mum's for feeding a home sick belly.

Don't go anywhere else for Jamaican food. The food is authentic and delicious, and the portions are generous. Lance, the chef is superb, and the staff is helpful and welcoming. We got the curried goat, oxtail, beef patties, collards, goat heads soup, and plantains. We had enough food for 4 people! We can't wait to go back! Thank you all!!
